Presentation Guidelines and Submissions

4. Your presentation should emphasise the utility of your study. Sufficient time should be devoted to discussing how the findings might influence policy decisions or generate actionable solutions to problems faced by your branch or division. You might also wish to comment on the balance between rigour and relevance in the work.

5. The deadline for submission of the following, cleared by your Branch Head and Divisional Director, to the Secretariat is Friday, 5 October 2018. We will compile and send these on to the appointed Discussant, so that he or she has sufficient time to prepare for the session:

a. Brief biography of the presenter(s) [for making introductions]

b. Presentation slides and accompanying research report (if any)

6. Note that for stylistic consistency in the Programme Booklet, we may make editorial changes to the abstracts submitted.

7. The Secretariat will compile the presentations and other related materials as “Proceedings of the 2018 MOE Research Forum”, which will be housed online on theT.H.I.N.K Portal.

8. More information on the reporting time, venue and other details will be provided by Friday, 5 October. Please let us know early if you have any special requirements for your presentations and we will try to accommodate.
